About This Game YamaYama is a whacky party game where you complete all sorts of mini-games to collect points on your path to victory. Most of the game modes utilise the FatSuit mechanic, where characters blow out and push other players away. It is made with easy-to-learn controls, so you can play with both video game veterans and newbies.•2-4 player local and online multiplayer•Single player with 1-3 Monkey AI bots•An excellent new game for the party!•23 game modes•6 characters•The ultimate new game for the party!•www.lumenoxgames.com•www.facebook.com/LumenoxGames•www.twitter.com/LumenoxGames•Join the Discussions if you have any questions! 7aa9394dea Title: YamaYamaGenre: Action, Casual, Indie, SportsDeveloper:Lumenox ehfPublisher:Lumenox ehfRelease Date: 12 Jul, 2017 YamaYama Download Youtube The twisted, weird uncle of Mario Party, YamaYama is the wacky party game on Steam that you have been looking for. All the great minigames with a surreal visual design you haven't seen before. On visual design alone YamaYama is worth your time. Each game puts an interesting twist on a familiar minigame, and controls are simple. YamaYama even has a kid friendly mode that removes environmental dangers on the playfields. For a night of co-op couch gaming, YamaYama goes great with Thief Town, 8Bit Fiesta, Ultimate Chicken Horse, and the Jackbox Party Games. Other than using the left stick, there are only two buttons, so it's easy for anyone to grasp the gameplay mechanics. Now has online multiplayer!. I played this game because it seemed like at least 50% of the developers had a beard. Was not disappointed.Pros:- Hilariously well done animations- Already quite a few different mini-game modes.- Smooth controls- Love the musicCons:- No online play yet. Will come later on though so hold your panties.- I think I yelled too much at my girlfriend10\/10 would recommend my bearded friends again!https:\/\/youtu.be\/6zEPg5WY6U0. Delicious. As others have mentioned, the fatsuit mechanic is novel, but it wears out pretty quick. The art style and kookiness of this game drew me in, and the minigames are pretty fun- although the main menu was pretty confusing when I tried to create a local lobby.. I doubt the developers are going to return to this game since they haven't done much with it since early access, but a guy can dream.. The game is good fun for the first time or two but quickly devolves into a "fat-suit" fest. While that might sound fun, and it is amusing at first, it ends up falling flat as a result. It has 24 (at the moment game modes) which add a bit of diversity into what is going on. But in nearly every game mode (mostly with the exception of catching the falling pig) the objective can be completed just by running up and using the "fat-suit" button (which bumps away opposing players). After awhile it just becomes boring running around and fat-suiting all of the time (the random power-ups add slight diffusion). The graphics look great, and the game is certainly fun for a time or two, but it hasn't been brought back into our weekly games night. Seeing that it is in early access, I hope to see that it swaps out the fatsuit for other abilities and maybe greater diversity in game objectives (8-Bit Fiesta is a great example). But until that time, I can't really recommend it for any long-term, couch-coop enjoyment.. I don't even know what inspired me to buy and play this game. But I am glad I did.It really ranks up there as one of the best local multiplayer games on Steam for me. I love the art and animations and the minigames feel unique and interesting. Whenever anyone asks for local multiplayer game recommendations, this is always on my list with more well known games like Towerfall, Duck Game and Lethal League. It currently is a mostly undiscovered gem, and I hope more people will discover it..
